Robert Yerton, LCSW

“I like to think I have a unique skill set coupled with life experience that equips me to be a dynamic therapist”. Robert served as a Marine in the military, spent 20 years working in the pathology field looking at healing the body, and now works with clients from 5 years old to older adults healing the mind. Therapy is difficult to navigate and can feel messy for the whole system (friends, family, work, school, and more).

Robert is a Licensed Certified Social Worker and has spent his counseling career understanding mood, behavior, and trauma symptoms and equipping individuals dealing with these experiences and disorders to live a life of freedom while understanding what their symptoms mean. Robert has specializations in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, DBT, and TF-CBT. He incorporates a light-hearted and straightforward approach to counseling to allow the individual to experience comfort and connection while exploring tough topics.

Robert believes it is important to value your experience and how that has shaped your core beliefs. Because we have these core beliefs, doesn't make them true. Let's assign new rules to these beliefs and heal the system as a whole both in body and mind.

I'd like to invite you to sit down and let's have a conversation about how your journey can look different, be transformed, and lead to a life of freedom. Freedom from painful memories, and experiences, and re-write your story. Several of the skills I have acquired over my career gives me certainty we can do just that”.
