Lindsay Keeter, LAC
Licensed Associate Counselor in Arkansas | Trauma, Neurodiversity-affirming
Lindsay is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who believes therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, understood, and accepted for who they are. Her goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore life’s challenges, develop practical skills, and build a deeper understanding of themselves.
With over a decade of experience in community mental health and school settings, Lindsay works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, spectrum disorders, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. She takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach and enjoys helping clients better understand how their unique brains and life experiences influence the way they think, feel, and interact with the world.
Her approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. Lindsay draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual’s goals and strengths. Whether clients are learning healthier coping skills, working through difficult emotions, or trying to make sense of where they are in life, she works alongside them to identify meaningful, sustainable steps forward.
Lindsay understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients during some of life’s most challenging moments. Her hope is that each client leaves sessions feeling heard, empowered, and better equipped to move toward the life they want to create.
