Candace Bartrow, PMHNP-BC
Candace is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than fifteen years of nursing experience, including over seven years dedicated to psychiatric care. She delivers individualized, holistic treatment that integrates psychotherapy, evidence-based interventions, and patient education to maximize clinical outcomes.
Candace believes mental health care should never feel rushed or impersonal. She takes time to listen truly, ensuring each person’s story shapes a customized treatment plan that may include psychotherapy, evidence-based recommendations, and thoughtful medication management. Her holistic approach is designed not only to relieve symptoms but also to strengthen long-term resilience and overall well-being.
Candace treats individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and stress-related conditions, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality disorders, sleep issues, and substance-related or eating disorders. She has extensive experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy. Patients often describe Candace’s style as warm, approachable, and deeply validating.
Candace is especially passionate about supporting individuals who have felt unheard, overmedicated, or overlooked in previous mental health experiences. She creates a safe, judgment-free environment where patients can show up exactly as they are and participate fully in their care. Her mission is simple: to help people gain clarity, reclaim confidence, and build a path toward lasting mental health.
