Ashley Hutton, LAC
Ashley Hutton is a Licensed Associate Counselor who brings both clinical expertise and personal experience to her work in the mental health field. She is known for her compassionate and individualized approach, utilizing evidence-based practices to help clients navigate complex emotional challenges and reclaim their sense of self.
Specializing in First Responder Wellness with a professional background as a former responder, Ashley has a deep understanding of the unique emotional and psychological toll the job can take. She specializes in working with law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and other responders who are facing issues such as trauma, burnout, anxiety, depression, and even relationship challenges because of the job demand. Her firsthand knowledge allows her to create a therapeutic environment where responders feel seen, understood, and supported as they work through the mental and emotional challenges tied to their service. “I can handle what you bring to the table, I do my own work.”
Ashley uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based interventions to guide responders through their healing process. Her work is grounded in helping clients build resilience, manage stress, and reconnect with purpose—both on and off the job.
Empowering Women Through Self-Worth and Identity Work Ashley also has a strong passion for supporting women who struggle with self-esteem, self- worth, and identity-related challenges. She creates a safe and validating space for women to explore their inner narratives, identify unhelpful patterns, attachment difficulties, and develop confidence in their voice and values.
In her work with women, Ashley draws on modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ACT, and mindfulness to foster emotional regulation, self-compassion, and personal empowerment. Whether clients are navigating life transitions, relationship difficulties, or long- standing internal conflicts, Ashley is dedicated to helping them uncover their inner strength and live more fully and authentically.
Ashley’s work is rooted in the belief that healing is possible for everyone—and that the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful space for transformation and growth.
